If you’ve been wondering what the buzz is about small groups, here’s everything you need to know.
What are small groups?
A small group is a gathering of people who meet regularly for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. Our church has small groups that meet throughout the week, so no matter what your schedule or ability level, there’s probably a place for you!
Why are they important?
Small groups are an incredible way to develop community within our church and also serve as an accountability system that keeps us all focused on following Jesus. The best part is that they’re completely voluntary—no one will ever force you into a group! That said, we highly encourage participation in small groups because they help us grow closer to each other and to God.
Small groups are a vital part of our church’s community.
Every week, we get together with a small group of people who share our interests and values. We discuss the Bible, pray together, and just have fun getting to know each other better. We hope that you’ll consider joining one of our many small groups!
There are so many great reasons to join a small group:
-you’ll meet new people and make new friends
-your connection with God will deepen
-you’ll have accountability partners who support you on your spiritual journey
